whether you have pounded out 60 books or six pages you are a novelist if you have a book in mind. As long as you hold that dream, thought ----whatever and however you retain it, you're in the special gaggle of spirit people, spirited people who are novelists. If you write with the dream or hope of being published you are one of US. US NOVELIST. so if I can preach to the choir say AMEN!
